The City of Acworth Municipal Court is located at 4408 Acworth Industrial Drive, Acworth, GA, 30101. All traffic offenses committed within the city limits are initially prosecuted in this Court, and they remain there unless the defendant wants to exercise his or her right to a jury trial. A few other non-traffic misdemeanors are also prosecuted here, such as underage possession/consumption of alcohol and shoplifting.  

The Chief Judge in this Court is Philip Taylor, although Joan Bloom and Harvey Lucas Mayes also preside as Judges here. The Solicitor is Randall Bentley.
